If systems shape behavior, then changes in systemic conditions eventually reshape what it means to function successfully within them. This chapter explores the possibility that the skills and assumptions that defined success in the industrial era may not map cleanly onto the emerging landscape.

As automation, AI, and digital coordination expand, the relative value of certain human capabilities may shift. Scarcity of physical output may give way to scarcity of judgment, creativity, empathy, and synthesis. The transition will not be instantaneous — or evenly distributed.

The “new human paradigm” is not a prediction but a directional inquiry. What capacities become more valuable in a world where machines increasingly handle routine production? And how well are our current institutions preparing people for that shift?
